UMMC's plant in Serov made almost seven billion rubles in 2012

The A.K. Serov Metallurgical Plant (part of Ural Mining and Metallurgical Company's ferrous-metals division) produced 254,100 tons of rolled and calibrated steel between January and June of 2012, which is 3% more than during the same period last year. The company's earnings, 6.9 billion rubles, remained unchanged from last year.

UMMC’s press office told RusBusinessNews that the company could count on a reliable level of orders because of its wide range of products. The A.K. Serov Metallurgical Plant produces round steel bars with a diameter of 10 to 300 millimeters and has also begun manufacturing axle billets (which are primarily sold to Uralvagonzavod, OJSC) and PL1 and PL2 grade pig iron.
