Magnitogorsk will host an interregional forum on tourism.

An interregional forum on tourism will be held on Nov. 22 and 23, 2012 in Magnitogorsk. Tourism and hospitality experts will discuss the prospects for creating a combined tourism market in Kazakhstan and the Ural and Volga federal districts. The Magnitogorsk city administration told RusBusinessNews that they plan to use the forum to develop the first interregional travel routes.
Representatives from the Federal Tourism Agency, the Russian Hotel Association, the Association of Russian Tour Operators, and the Russian Travel Industry Union will all take part in the discussion.
Magnitogorsk is the cultural, business, and industrial hub of the Chelyabinsk Region. The prominent ski resorts, Abzakovo and Metallurg-Magnitogorsk, as well as the Arkaim historical and cultural nature reserve, are all located close to the city.
