6,000 beds ready for SCO summit delegates in Ekaterinburg

6,300 beds in Ekaterinburg's hotels and motels are ready to accommodate the delegates of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation Summit, scheduled for June 15-16, 2009. A single room will cost from 100 US dollars.
Over the previous two years the Urals capital added one thousand rooms to its hotel capacity. In 2009, 5 new hotels with the total capacity of 800 rooms will be opened. Ekaterinburg's biggest five-star hotel, Hyatt Regency, welcomed its first customers in April.
As the city authorities informed RusBusinessNews, motels, mini-hotels, 10 three-star hotels, 6 four-star hotels and 2 five-star hotels are ready to accommodate the delegates and the journalists. The exact number of guests is still not known. Besides, there is a possibility that the summit will be taking place in three cities simultaneously: Ekaterinburg, Moscow and Saint-Petersburg. St. Pete is ready to host the sessions of SCO Legislators' Council.
