"Kolyada-Theatre" Will Present King Lear in France

Early 2010, Ekaterinburg Kolyada-Theatre will go on tour in France. Spectators will see King Lear, Hamlet and The Government Inspector.

After the success at the International Theatre Festival Passages-09 in Nancy, the company of the famous Russian playwright Nikolay Kolyada will gain popularity beyond France. As the theatre informed RusBusinessNews, a trip to a theatre festival in Zagreb is planned for September.

King Lear and Hamlet, "read" in a new light by Kolyada, will be shown at the Croatian stage. The foreign tour of the theatre proved Shakespearian ideas to be still vital. All shows of Kolyada-Theatre in Nancy were sell-outs.
