Urals Rockers are Waiting for SCO Summit to End

The rockers are looking forward to the end of the Summit of Heads of States of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization to be held in Ekaterinburg. Right after the summit, on 18 June 2009, the mighty show, starring Scorpions, Alice Cooper, The Rasmus and the Kingdom Come will take place in the city.

For the first time ever these groups will appear on one stage within the framework of the Rock Monsters project, which will be held in eight Russian cities in June. They will present compositions from new albums and the hits which conquered the listeners' hearts long ago. The show will last for about six hours. 7 thousand tickets, priced between 2,500 and 7,000 roubles, have been offered for sale in Ekaterinburg.

The concert agency TCI informed RusBusinessNews that the Rock Monsters will be arriving by a charter flight from Rostov-on-Don to Ekaterinburg on 17 June. The Tupolev 154 plane was leased for them by the Government of the Samara Oblast. The 25-ton stage equipment will be delivered by cargo aircraft and two automotive truck rigs.
