SVERDLOVSK REGION

Ural Airlines will continue their scheduled flights to Georgia. The Press Service of the airline has informed RusBusinessNews that flights are made from Ekaterinburg to Tbilisi on Mondays, and from Moscow to Kutaisi – on Tuesdays.

Previously, the Aviation Administration of Georgia announced the reduction in the number of flights made by Aeroflot and Siberia Airlines between Moscow and Tbilisi, starting from December 8, 2014. The permanent license for regular flights was denied to Globus (a subsidiary of Siberia) and Transaero.

Ural Airlines rank among the top five Russian airlines in terms of air traffic volume as the statistics showed at the end of January 2014. Over 2013 the air carrier provided services to more than 4.4 million passengers. At the moment, Ural Airlines are operating 35 Airbus airliners.
