THE PERM KRAI.
The Perm quail factory owner is negotiating supplies to Cyprus. Foreign buyers are ready to purchase all delicacy products, even broken eggs.
There are more than 8 thousand quails being raised at the farm owned by Viktor Rashin. More than 180 thousand quail eggs and 100 kilograms of poultry are produced daily for sale. The volumes can be increased if markets are sustainable. It is planned to increase the number of quails to 13 thousand by September 2009.
Mr. Rashin told RusBusinessNews that initial export can amount to 10-20% of eggs and poultry produced. Previously, the Perm farm sent 10 thousand quail eggs to Germany.
