Uralvagonzavod can supply more than 2,000 Armata tanks to the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation

The Russian Army can receive 2,300 Armata tanks. This statement was made by Oleg Sienko, General Director of the Uralvagonzavod Research and Production Corporation.

He says that the completion of the order is scheduled for 2020. However, its fulfilment may be delayed till 2025. The price of one commercially manufactured Armata tank will be about 250 million rubles, as Sienko pointed out.

The Armata tank was showcased at the Nizhny Tagil Exhibition of Arms and Ammunition - RAE-2015. The budget of the event totaled 500 million rubles, including 350 million rubles contributed by the Corporation, as RusBusinessNews has been informed by the Press Service of Uralvagonzavod.
