Uralvagonzavod Research and Production Corporation has made railcars for Iranian railroads

The Uralvagonzavod Research and Production Corporation showcased its products at the Russian National Industrial Exhibition – Trade and Industrial Dialogue: Russia - Iran. The event took place in Tehran on December 21-23, 2015.

The Corporation’s booth was visited by Mohammad Reza Nematzadeh, Minister of Industry, Trade and Mines, and Denis Manturov, Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation. The guests were shown the 12-581-01 solid-bottom gondola car that was designed and manufactured for the Middle-Eastern country; it is intended for transportation of non-aggressive bulk non-pulverized cargoes.

As RusBusinessNews has been informed by the Press Service of the Corporation, Uralvagonzavod has designed more than 10 units of rolling stock for Iran; 5 of them have gone through the certification process and the work on 3 units is still in progress.

At the Russian National Industrial Exhibition, the Uralvagonzavod Research and Production Corporation showcased 7 units of rolling stock, including a four-axle multipurpose hatch-type gondola car, tanks for transportation of oil and petroleum products.
