Ural Medical Equipment to Obtain Preferences in Cuba

Ural Optical and Mechanical plant (UOMZ) became the first official Russian supplier of medical equipment to Cuba. The Government of Cuba became interested in Yekaterinburg plant's equipment because of its price and quality.

The plant's representatives told RusBusinessNews that the negotiations with GCATE, an importer of medical equipment, were successful. UOMZ is ready to supply infant incubators and SLE ventilators to Cuba. This equipment has gained an excellent reputation in Russia and is now conquering the European market.

CGATE representatives will visit Yekaterinburg in 2009 to learn more about the manufacturing of the medical equipment at the Ural Optical and Mechanical Plant.
