RCC produced more than 300 million tons of ore

In the first half of 2021, the companies of the mining division of the Russian Copper Company, JSC, produced more than 41.6 million tons of ore.

 

As RusBusinessNews has been informed by the RCC Information Policy Department, a total of 7.5 thousand people are employed in mining operations of the company. Mining is performed at 11 sites – the Mikheevskoe deposit, Tominsky and Kalinovsky open-pit mines at the Tominskoe deposit, at the Chebachie, Dzhusinsky and Vesenny mines in Russia as well as at the Kundyzdy, Priorskoe, Limannoe, 50 Let Oktyabrya deposits and the Aralchinsky mine in Kazakhstan. The Ore Mining and Processing Plant is being built at the Malmyzhskoye deposit in the Khabarovsk Territory; the decision has been adopted regarding the development of the Tarutinskoye copper deposit in the South Urals.

 

Since 2004, the companies of the RCC Group have produced more than 300 million tons of ore containing between 0.32 and 2.88% of copper.
