VSMPO-AVISMA Corporation PJSC underwent a 6% annual indexation of salaries for almost 20 thousand employees of the company and its subsidiaries. Earlier, the salaries of the main production personnel were raised by 6-40%. The average salary at VSMPO-AVISMA enterprises has reached 69 thousand rubles. Additional personnel costs in 2023 amounted to 3.3 billion rubles. The payroll is 16% higher than last year.
 
As rcalled by the Press Office of the Corporation to RusBusinessNews, main production personnel at VSMPO-AVISMA saw an average pay increase of 21% as of March. Different strategies for salary increases were used. Smelters, blacksmiths, rolling operators, turners, and oxygen-cutting operators got attention at the VSMPO's site (Verkhnyaya Salda, Sverdlovsk Region). At AVISMA (Berezniki, Perm Territory), attention was focused on the magnesium production pot operators, furnace operators, smelters, and titanium sponge hammers. The labor market in the regions where the corporation operates was analyzed in detail to determine the key professions.

On the whole, during the last two years the average salary of VSMPO-AVISMA employees increased by 31%.
 
"The decision to raise salaries was made by the shareholders at the beginning of this year, taking into account the growth of production volumes, labor market analysis, and in order to ensure human resources protection of our enterprises. We will continue to work to increase the level of real wages, including this year. About 2 billion rubles are annually allocated for fulfillment of social obligations under the Collective Agreement," specified Olga Furtatova, head of VSMPO-AVISMA's HR department.

Taking into account the differential increase and indexation, the average salary at VSMPO is 69,146 rubles, and at AVISMA – 68,801 rubles, which is higher than the regional average (according to Rosstat, in March 2023 the average salary in the Sverdlovsk Region was 60,719 rubles, in the Perm Region – 56,085 rubles).
 
In 2022, VSMPO-AVISMA was ranked among the best employers in Russia according to Forbes (Gold Group). In April 2023, it won the competition of the Urals industrialists and entrepreneurs in the Corporate Governance category.
