Continuing its educational campaign for the 2023–2024 academic year, VSMPO-AVISMA has opened the first campus for free accommodation of students from other cities and towns in Verkhnyaya Salda. As reported by the press service of the corporation to RusBusinessNews, this has become another stage in the development of the professional staff training infrastructure for titanium production.

In 2022, VSMPO-AVISMA jointly with the Verkhnyaya Salda Aviation Metallurgical College became a participant of the Professionalitet Federal Program. Advanced workshops, laboratories, classrooms, and novel equipment are offered to students. Moreover, shortened terms of education, corporate scholarships, as well as opportunities to be employed by the corporation during their studies are also available to them.

"This corporation places special focus on attracting, developing, and retaining young professionals. Not only do we evolve the educational infrastructure in Verkhnyaya Salda, but we also strive to enhance the quality of training for future graduates by implementing corporate practice-oriented approaches into the educational process," said Elena Polnikova, the head of the Educational Institutions Affairs Department of VSMPO-AVISMA.

In July, the corporation opened the first student campus in the town. The modern dormitory will provide comfortable accommodation for out-of-town students that intend getting a job at the Salda enterprise after their studies.

Students coming to study in our town will obtain a profession highly demanded by the enterprise. In its turn, the corporation offers stable employment, good financial conditions, and substantial company benefits," Olga Furtatova, VSMPO-AVISMA’s director for human resources, pointed out.
