Perm Company Becoming Belarus Dairy Plants Supplier

Belarus dairy plants are prepared to buy packaging film in the Perm Krai. The Perm company OOO Finnpack Upakovka (Finnpack Packaging Ltd), a part of the Finnish holding Elecster Finnpack, thus will increase the volume of export to the CIS countries.

There is virtually no film of the European quality standards produced in Belarus for the food processing industry. Finnpack Upakovka has started supplying film to several companies in this country in the summer 2009. Companies in Kazakhstan and Ukraine also buy the product made in Perm.

Finnpack’s Russian representative office informed RusBusinessNews that Finnpack Upakovka makes 200 tons of packaging materials monthly. 10-15% of the products is exported to the CIS countries. Production volumes will increase in December 2009 after the commissioning of a new production line.
