Russian Medical Equipment Finds Its Place In Swiss Clinics

The recently completed visit of Dmitri Medvedev to Switzerland will help promoting Russian medical equipment in this European country. FSUE (Federal State Unitary Enterprise) PA (Production Association) Urals Optical and Mechanical Plant is planning to increase shipments of its equipment to Swiss clinics.
The company informed RusBusinessnews that the neonatal equipment made by the Urals Optical and Mechanical Plant, promoted under its European partner's brand Trialptek Switzerland in all important characteristics matches the world's best. At the same time it is 80% cheaper than equipment made in the Western Europe. For testing the Swiss doctors compared this equipment to Draeger incubators.
FSUE PA UOMZ (Urals Optical and Mechanical Plant) is the Russian leader in design and manufacturing of optic and electronic complexes for all types of armed forces and security agencies; the company also makes a broad range of non-military instrumentation products. The plant is working in the four key directions in this sphere, being a large manufacturer of medical equipment, geodesic instruments, lighting engineering, and optical surveillance systems.
The company produces neonatal equipment, for instance neonate heaters, various incubator models, and mechanical lung ventilators. The plant also makes laboratory diagnostic equipment, defibrillators, and oxygen tents. Various equipment from the Urals Optical and Mechanical Plant is working in clinics in Geneva, St. Gallen and Basel.
