Authorities

The Governor is the supreme official in the Chelyabinsk Oblast. Mikhail Yurevich has held this position since 1996. The Governor forms the Oblast Government and manages its activity.

Sergei Kamiakov - First Deputy Chairman of the Government;

Yuri Klepov - Deputy Chairman of the Government;

Evgeny Redin - Deputy Chairman of the Government.

Legislative power

The Legislative Assembly that consists of 59 deputies is the sole permanent supreme legislative authority in the Chelyabinsk Oblast.
Vladimir Myakush is the Chairman of the Assembly.
