Executive power

Governor is the highest official in the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug. Dmitry Nikolaevich Kobylkin has been in this position since March 2010.

- Born 7 July 1971.
- Education: 1993 – Ufa Oil Institute with the degree of Mining Engineer / Geophysicist; 2003 – Institute of Additional Vocational Training at the Ural Academy of Public Administration, a course on Public and Municipal Management
- 1993-1994 – engineer with an integrated geophysical crew in the Tarasovskoye Geophysics Office
- 1994-1995 – geologist in the Tarko-Sale Oil and Gas Exploration Expedition
- 1996-2001 – Personnel Director, First Deputy Director General in the system of OJSC Purneftegazgeologia.
- 2001-2002 – Director General of Khancheyneftegaz Ltd.
- 2002-2005 – First Deputy Head of the Administration of the Purovskiy District of the Yamalo-Nenets Okrug
- 2005-2010 –Head of the Administration of the Purovskiy District of the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug
- starting 3 March 2010 – the Governor of YaNAO
